Methi Matar


Methi leaves(fenugreek)		250 gms.
Green peas (boiled)		1 cup
Chopped onions			1/2 cup
Fresh cream			1/2 cup
Ginger-garlic paste		2 tbsp.
Amchur(mango powder)		1/2 tbsp.		
Chilli powder			1 tsp.
Cinnamon powder			1/4 tsp.
Oil				2 tbsp.
Salt				To taste

  1. Wash methi leaves and apply some salt and keep it for sometime.
    Wash again and chop them roughly.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and cook till they are light
    golden color. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 30 seconds. Add methi
    leaves. Cook uncovered for 6-7 minutes.
  3. Add chilli powder and peas. Cook for 4-5 minutes, then add amchur and stir.
  4. Finally add cinnamon powder and fresh cream and stir.
