Potato with Cauliflower
Cauliflower 1 medium sized
Potatoes 2 large ones
Coriander-Cumin powder 1 tbsp.
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp.
Bay leaf 2
Green Chillies 2-3
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp.
Salt To taste
- Cut the cauliflower into medium size florets, slice the potatoes
into cubes, wash and keep.
- Lightly fry cauliflower and potatoes separately and keep them aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and bay leaves and fry lightly.
- Add coriander-cumin powder, and fry for 20 seconds.
- Add half fried vegetables and mix well. Add 3/4 cup of hot water,
salt, lower the heat and simmer until cooked.
- Lastly add green chillies, salt. Once the gravy thickens and the
veetables become soft, add small ghee and the garam masala powder.
- Serve hot with chapati.
