Aloo Methi


Potatoes			250 gms
Fenugreek leaves (methi leaves)	2 bunches
Garlic crushed			4 flakes
Onion minced			1 no
Tomatoes diced			3 nos
Green chillies			4 nos
Coriander powder		1 tbsp
Turmeric powder			1/2 tsp
Chilli powder			To taste
Ghee/margarine/oil		2 tbsp
Salt 				To taste


  1. Sprinkle salt on leaves and set aside for 15 minutes and then squeeze dry.
  2. Heat oil and fry garlic and onion till soft.
  3. Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Put the potatoes and fry for five minutes and add leaves, spices and salt and cook till dry.
  4. Put in tomatoes and cover tightly and cook till the potatoes are tender. Serve hot.
