Potatoes 5 nos Tomatoes 3 nos Aniseeds (saunf) 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp Chilli powder 1/2 tsp Turmeric 1/2 tsp Coriander leaves 1 bunch Curry leaves 10-12 Oil 3 tbsp Salt To taste

- Puree the tomatoes.
- Boil potatoes, cut 3 potatoes into big pieces and coarsely mash the rest.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add saunf, fenugreek seeds, chilli powder, turmeric and curry leaves(pinch the leaves before adding).
- Stir fry for a while. Add pureed tomatoes. Keep stirring until it dries up a bit and then add all the potatoes and mix well.
- Add 4 cups of water and bring to boil.
- Add salt and coriander leaves and boil for ten minutes.
- Serve hot with puris.
