Bread Pancakes
Bread 1 loaf
Onion chopped 2
Tomatoes chopped 2
Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
Green chillies chopped 4-6
Ginger grated 1/2 tsp
Oil 3 tbsp
Salt To taste
For garnishing:
Tomatoes cut into rings
Onions chopped
Coriander leaves chopped
- Dip the bread slices in water and remove the water immediately, pressing
it with your palm.
- Mash the bread nicely. Add onions, coriander, green chillies, ginger, salt, tomatoes
and make it like a thick batter. If needed add small water. (If you prefer, you can
add small curd instead of water).
- Heat non-sticking pan. Pour small batter on that and spread slowly like pancakes.
- Add small oil around the pancake. Roast both the sides.
- Garnish with tomatoes, onions and coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
