Bread Pudding


Bread slices			8
Milk				1 cup
Condensed Milk			1/2 tin
Butter/Margerine		25 gms
Eggs				2 nos
Cardamom or			4 
Nutmeg (jaifal)			a pinch
Sugar				2 tsp	


  1. Trim the edges of bread slices.
  2. Butter the slices on both sides and cut into two triangular pieces.
  3. Arrange the slices in layers in an oven proof dish.
  4. Beat the eggs. Mix together the condensed milk, milk, eggs, nutmeg/cardamon and pour on the buttered slices.
  5. Bake in a moderately hot oven for 30-40 minutes till the top is browned.
    Note:Use either cardamom powder or nutmeg powder.
