Cabbage Pancakes


Wheat flour			1/2 cup
Rice flour			1/2 cup
Gram flour			1/2 cup
Corn flour			1/2 cup
Finely chopped cabbage		1/2 cup
Garlic crushed			3-4 flakes
Green chillies finely chopped	4 nos
Turmeric powder			1/2 tsp
Asafoetida			1/2 tsp
Curd/yogurt			2 cups made as buttermilk
Onion cut into long strips	1 no
Oil				4 tbsp
Salt 				To taste

  1. Mix all the flours together. Add cabbage.
  2. Add buttermilk to make the batter.(The batter should not be too thick or too thin)
  3. Mix thoroughly and keep aside for atleast 6 hours in a warm place.
  4. Just before making the pancakes, add chopped onion, green chillies, asafoetida, garlic, turmeric and salt. Mix it well.
  5. Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with small oil. Pour a large spoonful of the prepared batter.
  6. Spread it to a round shape like thick dosa.
  7. Put oil on all sides. Flip once and let the other side cook well.
  8. Repeat for the remaining batter. Serve hot with chutney or pickles.
