Chilli Pakora


Gram flour			200 gms
Baking powder			1 tsp
Chilli powder			2 tsp
Oil				For deep frying
Large green chillies		10
Boiled potatoes			500 gms
Garam masala powder		1 tsp
Chaat masala			1 tsp
Chopped coriander		1 tbsp
Salt 				To taste

        

  1. Prepare a thick batter using gram flour, baking powder, 1 tsp chilli powder, salt and about 1 cup of water. Keep the batter for about 10 minutes.
  2. Slit green chillies and remove the seeds.
  3. Peel and grate the boiled potatoes and add 1 tsp of chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala, chopped coriander and salt. Mash and mix well. Divide this into 10 equal portions.
  4. Stuff a little of this mixture into the green chillies and cover the chillies with the mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a pan. Dip stuffed green chillies into the gram flour batter and deep fry until golden brown.
