- Heat heavy bottomed vessel and boil the milk stirring it occasionally till it becomes less than half.
- Add the sugar and boil for 15 minutes. Don't forget to stir constantly.
- Cut each bread slice in a circle and then in quarters (or whichever shape you prefer).
- Heat oil and deep fry the bread pieces in hot oil till golden brown.
- Sprinkle a little sugar syrup over the bread pieces.
- Arrange the bread pieces on a plate.
- Coat them with the milk. Sprinkle chopped nuts before serving.
