Green Cutlet


Corn flour			3 tbsp
Boiled potatoes			350 gms
Boiled peas			100 gms
Boiled spinach			100 gms
Ginger chopped			1 tbsp
Green chillies chopped		2 nos
Onions chopped			1 no
Asafoetida 			1/2 tsp
Garam masala			1/2 tsp (optional)
Oil				For frying
Salt 				To taste

  1. Grate the boiled potatoes. Drain the excess water from the boiled spinach. Chop finely. Mash the boiled green peas.
  2. Mix grated potoes, chopped spinach, peas, chopped ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves, asafoetida, chilli powder and salt.
  3. Make small balls and then press with your palm and flatten it like tikki with the above mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a fry pan. Deep fry the above tikkis in medium flame.
  5. Serve hot with chutney.
Note: If you want, instead of deep frying the tikkis, you can shallow fry them on a griddle with small oil.
