Green Cutlet
Corn flour 3 tbsp
Boiled potatoes 350 gms
Boiled peas 100 gms
Boiled spinach 100 gms
Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
Green chillies chopped 2 nos
Onions chopped 1 no
Asafoetida 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1/2 tsp (optional)
Oil For frying
Salt To taste
- Grate the boiled potatoes. Drain the excess water from the boiled spinach. Chop finely. Mash the boiled green peas.
- Mix grated potoes, chopped spinach, peas, chopped ginger, green chillies,
coriander leaves, asafoetida, chilli powder and salt.
- Make small balls and then press with your palm and flatten it like tikki with the above mixture.
- Heat oil in a fry pan. Deep fry the above tikkis in medium flame.
- Serve hot with chutney.
Note: If you want, instead of deep frying the tikkis, you can shallow fry them on a griddle with small oil.
