Mushroom Pakora


Button mushrooms		150 gms
Gram flour			150 gms
Curd				3/4 cup
Pepper powder			1/2 tsp
Chilli powder			1 tsp
Onion chopped			2 nos
Oil				For frying
Lemon				1/2
Garlic grated			3 flakes
Salt 				To taste

  1. Mix gram flour with curd and salt, pepper and chilli powder.
  2. Grind the onion to make it a paste. Add lime juice, onion paste and grated garlic to the batter and mix thoroughly. The batter should be of coatable consistency. If it's too hard, you can add small water.
  3. Put the batter in the refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  4. Cut off the hard pieces of mushroom and keep aside.
  5. Heat oil in a fry pan. Coat each mushroom with the batter and deep fry.
  6. Fry till golden brown in color. Once fried, drain the excess oil on the paper towel.
  7. Serve hot.
