Cheese Pakora
Cottage cheese(paneer) 1" wide, 1/4" thick, 2"long pieces (20)
Chickpea flour (besan) 1 cup
Yogurt 1/2 cup
Baking powder a pinch
Mint leaves paste 1/2 tsp
Oil For deep frying
Salt To taste
- Mix chickpea flour, yogurt, baking powder, mint leaves paste and salt
together. The batter is ready.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium and when it is hot, dip each paneer piece
in the above batter such that it coats both sides well and then
drop it in oil.
- Do similarly for other pieces too. Cook on medium low heat evenly on
both sides until light golden brown.
- Serve hot with mint chutney.
