Potato Sandwich Toast


Potatoes			500 gms
Bread				6 slices
Green chillies chopped		2					
Coriander leaves chopped	2 tbsp
Pomegranate seeds powder	1/2  tsp
Garam masala			1/2 tsp
Oil				For frying		
Salt 				To taste

       For mint chutney:

Mint leaves			1/2 bunch
Coriander leaves		1 bunch
Green chillies			3-4
Lime juice			2 tbsp
Salt 				To taste



  1. Grind the ingredients of the mint chutney together and keep aside.
  2. Boil the potatoes, remove the skin and grate and keep aside.
  3. Soak the bread slices in some water for 15 seconds and remove the excess water.
  4. Mix the potato and bread together. Add green chillies, coriander leaves, Pomegranate seed powder, garam masala and salt. Mix thoroughly and leave aside for 15 minutes.
  5. Take small portion of the mix and make a ball out of it. Roll it with rolling pin like thick roti.
  6. Apply a thin layer of the mint chutney on the rolled mixture. Roll one more and cover it over the chutney layer. Press it slightly and keep aside.
  7. Make similar sandwiches with the remaining mix and mint chutney.
  8. Heat oil. Once the oil is hot, deep fry the sandwiches one after another.
  9. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
